This Day Sgian Dubh has its handle carved into the shape of a Thistle. The Thistle is an icon of Scotland and has been the national flower for many years.
Your Sgian Dubh slips into the top of your Kilt Hose, with only the handle showing. If you are right-handed, wear the Sgian Dubh in your right sock, if you are left-handed the blade goes in your left sock.
