An artistically designed day Sgian Dubh with an intricate Thistle carving on the wooden handle, with pewter mounts. There is a Glass Gemstone mounted in the pewter top.
The word Sgian Dubh derives its meaning from the Scots Gaelic for ‘Hidden Blade’. This small, double-edged knife is worn down the side of your Kilt Sock, on the same side as your dominant hand. The hilt is the only part shown, sticking out from the top of the sock.
