This wonderfully crafted Imitation Staghorn Day Sgian Dubh has Celtic Knot crest embedded in the handle top. The Celtic Knot has long been used throughout the history of Scotland and the design is instantly recognizable as having Scottish links.
Historically Sgian Dubhs were carried for use in the preparation of food, cutting material and protection. They are now worn as part of traditional Scottish dress, sitting at the top of your sock on a Kilt outfit.
Day Sgian Dubhs can be worn with a range of jacket styles, but work particularly well when worn with Tweed jackets.
