This fashionable Dress Sgian Dubh has a traditional Scottish Thistle design etched into the pewter trim.  The moulded plastic handle has a woven pattern which enhances the grip. The Thistle has a long association with Scotland, being found wide-spread throughout the Highlands. It has also been the Flower Emblem of Scotland for many centuries.

The Sgian Dubh (sometimes written ‘Skean Dhu’.) is a doubled edge knife which was traditionally used for cutting material and for self-defence. Modern Sgian Dubhs are an ornate addition to your Kilt Outfit, adding a touch of authenticity to your attire.
