This deluxe Dress Sgian Dubh has a palladium plated pewter trim, shaped into a detailed cut-out Interlaced Celtic Knot design. Set into the handle is a Thistle logo. The Thistle has long been associated with Scotland, and has been the nations Flower Emblem for many centuries. A Mounted Glass Gemstone sits at the end of the handle to complete this quality piece.

Sgian Dubhs were traditionally used by Scots to cut material, food or to serve as a weapon for self-defence. They were also hidden in the sock or under the arm to spring surprise attacks on foes!

Day Sgian Dubhs should be worn to casual or day events such as outdoor weddings, garden parties or ceilidhs. Dress variations should be worn to formal dinners, graduations and other prestigious events.
