This charming Dress Sgian Dubh has a palladium plated pewter trim, shaped into a detailed cut-out Interlaced Celtic Knot design. Set into the handle is the instantly recognizable ‘Compass and Set-Square’ emblem used by the Freemason movement. A Mounted Glass Gemstone sits at the end of the handle to complete this fine piece.
Sgian Dubhs have been used throughout history in Scotland. They were carried as a sidearm or as a useful cutting tool. With current Kilt Outfits, they are used as a decoration, adding a traditional detail to your attire.
Dress Sgian Dubhs should be worn when you are dressing up for a special occasion. They should be worn with a Dress sporran to prestigious events such as Weddings, Graduations and Black Tie Dinners.
