This Semi-Dress Grey Bovine sporran has a Studded Celtic Design on the Flap. It comes with 3 pleated and knotted tassels across the body.
Semi-Dress sporrans can be matched with many types of Jackets, from Tweeds to Braemars. Worn with a simple Jacobite shirt, you can also create a casual look, suitable for Ceilidhs.
The word sporran comes from the Gaelic for ‘pouch’. Sporrans were traditionally crude leather pouches worm by Highlanders to carry scraps of food and gunpowder while travelling.
