One of our more commonly sold Dress Sgian Dubhs! A Clan Crest Emblem is mounted on the hilt, with a Scottish Thistle etched into the Pewter trim. The moulded plastic handle has a woven pattern which enhances the grip.
Sgian Dubhs are double-edged knifes, historically used to cut material, food scraps and material. They were also used for self-defence or for a sneak attack, being hidden under the arm or down the Kilt hose.
Day Sgian Dubhs should be worn to casual or day events such as outdoor weddings, garden parties or ceilidhs. Dress variations should be worn to formal dinners, graduations and other prestigious events.
Available in a Shiny or Antique finish.
