This Kilt Pin is a replica of another Highland Wear accessory – the Sgian Dubh! The Sgian Dubh is a small knife, worn in the sock. It was a hidden weapon that could be used if needed. This Kilt Pin is based on a traditional Sgian Dubh design, with an intricate Celtic Knot woven handle.
Wear your Kilt Pin on the bottom corner of the open side of your Kilt’s front apron. The Kilt Pin only clips through the front apron, and not both aprons – a common mistake.
Made from Pewter.
