Coming from the Scots Gaelic for ‘Great Sword’, the Claymore is a Two-handed blade, larger than a standard sword which was prevalent throughout Scottish history. Sir William Wallace was said to have carried such a weapon. This Sterling Silver Kilt Pin is in the shape of the historic sword, and have carefully detailed Celtic Knot motifs on the blade and hilt.
Your Kilt Pin clips to the bottom corner of the front apron on your Kilt. Usually made from a metal, the Kilt Pin adds some mass to keep your Kilt held in place when you are moving around – you wouldn’t want to give an unsuspecting passer-by an eyeful!
