    Description

Regulation Doublets are similar to the Prince Charlie jacket but with braided ‘tashes’ hanging down around the bottom of the jacket. Another difference from the Price Charlie Jacket is the gauntlet cuffs. It is traditionally worn with a 3 button waistcoat. This is a stand-out jacket with extra flair than the Prince Charlie.

This jacket should be worn for the same occasions as a Prince Charlie jacket. This includes Dress occasions including, Black Tie Dinners, Balls, Graduations and Weddings.

Regulation Doublets should be worn with a Standard or Wing-Collar Pleat Front Shirt. More fashionably the Regulation Doublet can be worn with a White or Black Victorian Spread Wing Shirt and Ruche Tie.

These are Made to Measure Jackets and are available in colours: Black, Dark navy, French navy, Wine and Bottle Green to match any outfit.

Other Colours or Velvets are available for an additional cost on request. Wire braiding on ‘tashes’ is also available for an additional cost on request.

The jacket comes as standard with Celtic silver shiny buttons. You can choose an alternative button colour or style for an additional cost.
