Dress Sporrans are best worn at formal occasions. They match the style of several jackets, including the Prince Charlie, Argyll or Braemar, but are also suitable to wear with Tweed Jackets.
Sporran comes from the Gaelic word for purse. Traditionally they were used on the field by highlanders to store scraps of food and transport their powder horn. Modern day sporrans are used to hold your personal belongings at events or to hide a wee dram in!
