This popular Dress Sgian Dubh has a Scottish Thistle motif on the pewter trim. The Thistle has long been associated with Scotland, and is recognised as the Flower Emblem of Scotland. The moulded plastic handle has a criss-cross design for enhanced grip.
Your Sgian Dubh is stored in your Kilt sock, on the same side as your most used hand. In years gone by they were used as ‘hidden blades’, used for protection or to ambush an enemy!
