A strikingly crafted Day Sgian Dubh with a wooden handle with pewter mounts. On the hilt an interlacing Celtic knot design, such to catch the attention of passing onlookers. The cap on the top of the item has a Glass Gemstone mounted in the pewter top.
Your Sgian Dubh is stored in your Kilt sock, on the same side as your most used hand. In years gone by they were used as ‘hidden blades’, used for protection or to ambush an enemy!
Your Day Sgian Dubh should be worn to casual and day occasions such as outdoor weddings, highland games and garden parties!
