This Sterling Silver Dress Sgian Dubh has a beautiful Celtic Knot trim around the leather scabbard. The handle is carved with a criss-cross design for a comfortable grip while a Glass Gemstone is mounted on the end of the hilt. The Sgian Dubh has its origins as being a small knife carried around by Scots through history. Its original use was to cut material or food, but it could also be used as a weapon when needed. As part of the modern Kilt outfit it is stored down the sock, with the hilt displayed.
