This Dress Sgian Dubh is made from a fine Sterling Silver. It features beautiful Celtic Knot trim around the edges of the scabbard and a Glass Gemstone mounted on the hilts end. The handle is carved into a thick woven knot design to add grip and detail. Sgian Dubhs were originally carried to be used as a tool in cutting meat or material. They were also used for self-defence against a foe! In modern Kilt Outfits, they are used as a fashionable accessory to decorate your outfit! Sgian Dubhs are worn down the sock on the same side as your writing hand. The hilt is the only part visible above the top of the sock.
