Semi-Dress sporrans are the best of both Day and Dress sporrans. They adapt well to be worn at both formal and informal occasions. Great for you first sporran as it can be worn at all occasions except for Black Tie Dinners.
The word Sporran comes from the Gaelic for ‘Pouch’ and that is exactly what early sporrans started out as. These pouches were used to carry food scraps, trinkets and gunpowder, but today they are used to store mobile phones, wallets and keys!
